Let’s have a voting day for the Sabres! November 2, 2010

If you had the chance to get out there and vote against any player or member of Sabres management, who would it be? I could do this as a poll, but there are so many choices it seems like it would be cumbersome. Instead, just reply in the comments section and let me know who you would vote off the roster.

You have one for management, one for forwards, one for defense, and one for goaltending. Just remember, though – if you vote Patrick Lalime “out of office” his lieutenant goaltender is Jhonas Enroth, who will finish out his term of service.

I’ll put up my choices later – I don’t want to unduly influence my legions of ten readers.

Now let’s get out there and vote!

1. Andy Boron - November 2, 2010

Management – Is Brian McCutcheon appropriate? Our power play’s been awful for years.
Forwards – Rob Niedermayer
D – Craig Rivet
G – Patty

Coaching staff can count, sure. And it’s a good choice – I’ve always wondered what he brings to the table and why they’ve kept him around.

2. Heather B. - November 2, 2010

Larry Quinn, Drew Stafford, Craig Rivet, Patrick Lalime

Solid choices, my cookie-loving friend.

3. S. Tooth - November 2, 2010

This sort of reminds me of ostracism, the practice by which the ancient Athenians would vote someone into exile every year. Anyway, here are my votes:
1. Management – Larry Quinn
2. Forwards – Nathan Gerbe
3. Defense – Chris Butler
4. Goaltender – Patrick Lalime

Or that short story we had to read in high school (or at least I did) called The Lottery, where the townspeople randomly picked people to stone to death.
